Just spoke to my ex ex boss, the one I had when I was interning in BJ. He’s like you should go back, they miss you. You know what, I think I will! My friend, the CD shop owner at Houhai, also recently asked me to go up for a visit.. and I kinda miss Wudaokou. And while I’m at it, I might as well hit Suzhou because I’ve always wanted to visit I.M. Pei’s museum ever since I watched a documentary on the designing process behind it, and a friend is working there as an architect now.

Going back to China sometimes feels heartwarming, because I’ve spent a significant part of my lucid youth there, thinking, mulling and generally growing into myself. And some of my best travels were had in that marvelous, sprawling country. ❤ Wanderlusting again.
